In the Like a good neighbor premium shirt it is in the first place but end, they quietly agreed to go with their original conclusion – that she couldn’t possibly do the job. Which was code for “this will make us too uncomfortable.” Full Suit and Tie daily with no casual or relaxed attire, You need to be dressed for work and I will absolutely work People hard. The workplace is more efficient when people don’t have to wear formal business attire. I have worked in both kinds of environments and the efficiencies are obvious. When I was young and just starting out I worked in a very traditional corporate office setting in midtown Manhattan. Suits for the men. Suits or dresses or occasionally very nice pantsuits for the women (this was the late 70s / early 80s). Then I worked in a similar place in Arlington, Virginia. Both of these are locations with brutal extremes of hot, humid summer weather and cold, snowy winter weather, and business attire was often uncomfortable and non-conducive to getting work done. The employer in Virginia switched to a “business casual” dress code late in my time there, and that was a major improvement. Later in my career I worked in an environment where there was literally no dress code (other than “no competitor brands”) and the improvement was even greater. I am a lawyer. I put on business attire when I need to, for a board meeting or a court appearance, but when I am meeting with casually dressed clients or drafting a document it really helps to be comfortable, with no distractions from my clothing.

Modesty must be respected at all times, genitals and nipples covered for both genders. Underwear should not be deliberately visible. I believe there are way too many restrictions placed on what people can wear in the Like a good neighbor premium shirt it is in the first place but workplace and in their private lives. The dinner we recognise people’s rights to dress as they like, the sooner we will have people working to their optimum and being happy in their work. I have found since I have work skirts I am calmer, more comfortable, more focused and an all round nicer, more effective person. What’s more, nobody cares about what I’m wearing. Attitude and dedication are way more important than clothing. Seriously though, why does it even matter? If a person wants to put on makeup and wear it to work, why shouldn’t they be allowed? There are very few jobs out there where wearing makeup would be a safety hazard. Or is this a thinly veiled, sexist question? Since in most cases it is women who wear makeup to their jobs, not men (not withstanding the guy with amazeballs makeup skills in some place). Or perhaps this is a thinly veiled rant about how “dishonest” makeup is and how it is supposedly used to leverage advantages? Bah.
